Yo so ive known about this poem for a WHILE now but i finally remembered to post it lol. So here it is, an excerpt from Russel Simmons' "Brave New Voices"(a young adult poetry slam competition) by Alysia entitled "That Girl." Alof of poets get to you but she really made me feel her pain!
This one was just as deep...the subject matter is one that is not really talked about in this manner but its still dope. Alexis-"Corner Boys"
